Guaranteed $21,000 Prize Fund:

1st - $5,000 plus $2,500 fare to FIDE World Championship

2nd - $2,000 plus $2,000 fare to FIDE Americas Championship

3rd - $1,500 plus $2,000 fare to FIDE Americas Championship

Format: 9 Round Swiss. 1 Game per day, starting Friday, August 20th, with rest day Friday, 27 August. Playoffs on Monday August 30th if required.

Round Times: 5 PM weekdays and 1 PM weekends

Time Control: Fide Time Controls: G/120 with 30 a second Fischer increment.

Rated: Both CFC and FIDE Equipment: Provided by OCA

Location: Tartu College, 310 Bloor Street West (1 block East of Spadina)
