League Membership in the OCA

What are the current leagues?

There are currently four leagues which are recognized by the OCA

Eastern Ontario Chess Association (EOCA)

Greater Toronto Chess League (GTCL)

Northern Ontario Chess League (NOCL)

Southwestern Ontario Chess League (SWOCL)

What do the leagues do?

The leagues are responsible for nominating potential Governors for the Ontario Chess Association Inc. from their area, nominating potential governors for the Chess Federation of Canada (CFC) from their area and for organizing chess in their region. They also represent the players in their region to the Ontario Chess Association.

What does a league need to do to be recognized by the OCA?

Each league must meet the following requirements for recognition by the OCA:
